Lazertran Stamping Decal

To make Stamped Embossed Lazertran Decals
- For Stamped decal
- Using waterproof, permanent stamping ink, stamp your image onto the shiny side of the sheet and dry the ink using a heat gun
- For Embossed decal
- Wipe the surface of the decal paper with an anti static cloth to avoid embossing powder sticking to un-stamped areas
- Stamp with the waterproof stamping ink then sprinkle the embossing powder onto the wet ink
- Tap off the excess embossing powder and heat set
- Soak in water until the decal release and apply to the surface using craft glue or real turpentine
For difficult curved surfaces a hairdryer can be used to stretch the decal to fit.
To make an embossed decal without a stamp
Using your computer inkjet printer use any image or text into black and white then apply a filter such as "Stamp" in photo shop or change the image into a line drawing.
- Print out the image or text using your inkjet printer onto the Lazertran decal paper. The inks will not dry but this is what we want
- Sprinkle the wet ink with embossing powder and then heat set as above
When the sheet is put in water the black ink will wash away leaving the embossed image on the decal.
