Lazertran Techniques

Decorated cards using lots of different Lazertran and Lazertran Silk techniques

(1) Using a window card we printed a poem in reverse onto Lazertran and transferred it onto the back of a sheet of plastic and allowed the transfer to dry. We then suspended the plastic on silver wire across the corners of the window.

(2) Here we have used Lazertran Silk transfer paper and ironed an image onto a small piece of fine silk. When finished we frayed the edges of the silk and spray mounted the silk onto the card

(3&5) Here we used Lazertran Silk again but this time ironed the image onto a sheet of copper foil. Afterwards we used a wooden tool to emboss around the image then stuck the copper to the card with craft glue.

(4) On a hand made sheet of paper we applied several images using Lazertran and the turpentine method.

(6&8) These was made with the same method as 2, but we glued the silk into the folding window card. With the Victorian women next to 6 we used the same method but did not glue the fold over so that when the card is opened the silk lets light shine through the image.
