Lazertran Techniques

Lazertran Silk can be used to put photocopied images onto glass tissue

  1. Have your image copied in reverse onto a sheet of Lazertran Silk transfer paper
  2. Lay the fine glass tissue over the image and using a hot iron iron the image into the tissue
  3. Do not pull at the transfer paper to make sure it is stuck but put into a bath of water. After a few minutes the backing sheet of the Lazertran Silk will fall off leaving the image on the glass tissue
  4. Lift from the water and dry with a cool iron from the back. Do not touch the toners with the iron
  5. When dry lay a sheet of baking parchment over the image and iron the toners through the parchment, into the glass tissue. Allow to cool and peel off the parchment
  6. This glass decal can now be resined into or onto molds or fiberglass
